Te Wānanga Whare Tapere o Takitimu, based in Hastings, New Zealand, has been proudly teaching Māori Performing Arts since 1983. We have a wide range of courses available that provide theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in Māori Performing Arts.

 Ultimately, our courses will help you to gain knowledge to grow, nuture and protect our precious taonga, as well as providing you with an excellent foundation for promising career pathways. Your level of background knowledge is no barrier – we welcome beginners and those with more knowledge, of all ages.
